Georgia Bulldogs junior wide receiver London Humphreys was one of several standouts from the team's annual G-Day spring on Saturday.

Humphreys finished the day with four catches for 77 yards and two touchdowns for the Black team, which fell 34-17 to the Red team.

When asked about Humphrey's growth since transferring from Vanderbilt to Georgia last year, head coach Kirby Smart had nothing but great things to say about the former All-SEC freshman.

"Yeah, he's way beyond," Smart said. "When he came, he wanted to be developed, he wanted to learn this offense. He understands that he can play multiple positions. He's probably the only guy, and with Dillon Bell, who can play all three. Coach Coley did a great job of teaching those guys all three positions. And that's a little bit of a product today of playing multiple positions. Because he can go out there, somebody goes down and jump out there and play. And London's very smart. He doesn't have a lot of anxiety. He's very mature, and he's good for those kids in that room. Because he works really hard."

While Humphreys lacked consistency as a pass catcher in 2024, his big moments didn’t go unnoticed—he finished the season with 15 receptions for 244 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 27.1 receiving yards per game for the Bulldogs.

Humphreys's best game last fall came in Georgia's 31-17 win against the Tennessee Volunteers when he made a monster catch that ultimately set the Dawgs up for a two-touchdown lead with just over two minutes to go in the fourth quarter.

He finished the victory over the Vols reeling in three receptions for 63 yards on four targets, showcasing his ability to make significant plays.

Pending how the rest of the offseason goes for Humphreys, he could be on tap for a much larger role in 2025 with Arian Smith and Dominic Lovett off to the NFL.
