Former Georgia Bulldogs star safety Malaki Starks is a projected first-round pick in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, but where he exactly lands remains up in the air.

However, if it were up to Starks, he would love to reunite with at least one of two former teammates.

While speaking to reporters at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Starks raved about fellow Georgia defensive stars, safety Javon Bullard of the Green Bay Packers  and defensive tackle Jalen Carter of the Philadelphia Eagles."

"My freshman year, Jalen Carter sat across from me. When I got to Georgia, I was expecting, like, they had all these people, great guys, some people probably stuck up, or whatever it may be, but everybody was cool," Starks said. "And I remember JC and Javon Bullard, like I remember standing at my locker one day, and JC walked up to me. He was like, 'Go get it. Go get it. You can do it. I see you, keep working.'"

"And that just kind of gave me that confidence. Because you know, if you ask me, JC is the best player I've ever played with, hands down. And I think just the thing that you doing in league, you just see it as well. So just being with those guys, that standard on the Smith, those guys, really played a really big part in my role at the University of Georgia. So it would an honor to play with them for sure."

The Packers, who are slated to pick at No. 23 overall in the first round this year, are not in desperate need of a safety and neither are the Eagles, who pick at No. 32 overall.

However, the Eagles love drafting Georgia products and could be interested in adding another talent weapon to their already dangerous secondary.

The only problem is that the "Philly Dawgs" pick last in the first round and it's more than likely that Starks will be gone by then. But, if the Eagles really want Starks, then general manger Howie Roseman will not be afraid to trade up to get him.
