Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs might be on the verge of securing another major defensive piece for their 2026 class.
College football recruiting expert for Rivals, Steve Wiltfong, just updated his recruiting forecast and has Georgia landing four-star linebacker Nick Abrams.
Locking down Abrams would be a big win for Georgia, especially if Steve Wiltfong’s prediction holds true that five-star linebacker Tyler Atkinson is leaning toward Texas.
Earlier this month, Abrams cut his list of contending schools from five to four, with Georgia being one of them.
"Georgia is a place I can see myself thriving in," Abrams told On3 following an official visit to Athens back in May.
The other three schools Abrams is highly considering include the Michigan Wolverines, Alabama Crimson Tide, and Oregon Ducks.
Abrams, 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, is rated as the No. 8 linebacker and the No. 165 overall prospect in the On3 rankings, which also list him as the No. 5 player in Maryland.
He is set to announce his college decision on Wednesday, July 16.
