The Georgia Bulldogs will be without sophomore running back Roderick Robinson when they take on Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl.

UGASports.com confirmed that Robinson suffered a "lower body" injury at practice this week.

It's very unfortunate considering Robinson had just returned to action after missing a majority of the 2024 season recovering from turf toe.

Robinson finished Georgia's regular season logging four carries for three yards against Georgia Tech.

While Robinson's presence will be missed, Georgia's running back room runs deep with Trevor Etienne and freshman running back Nate Frazier leading the pack. The Bulldogs also have Branson Robinson, Cash Jones, and even wide receiver Dillon Bell taking carries.

In addition to Robinson, Georgia will be without starting quarterback Carson Beck (elbow surgery) and punter Brett Thorson (knee) for their playoff run.

The Sugar Bowl kicks off on Jan. 1 in New Orleans at 8:45 p.m. ET.
