Former Georgia Bulldogs star and current Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey suffered a shoulder injury in the first half of Sunday night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
However, the injury didn't keep him from returning to action and making the game's biggest clutch plays.
The game was tied 27-27 with 45 seconds left in the fourth quarter when Los Angeles quarterback Justin Herbert connected with McConkey on a 28-yard pass to get them down to the Chargers' 44-yard line.
Herbert's next pass to tight end Will Dissly was incomplete.
Then with 31 seconds remaining in the game, Hebert found McConkey again for a 27-yard reception to put them at Cincy's 29.
From there, McConkey's back-to-back catches led to running back JK Dobbins finishing the drive with a 29-yard rushing touchdown to win the game.
McConkey caught six of his nine targets for 123 yards in the 34-27 win over the Bengals.
The former 2024 second-round pick by the Chargers currently leads LA's receiving room with 43 catches for 615 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games.
With the win over Cincinnati, the Chargers are now 7-3 on the season heading into Week 12 where they'll take on the Baltimore Ravens (7-4).
