Kirby Smart has pulled off yet another massive move during this recruiting cycle.

Just a few days after de-committing from the USC Trojans, five-star edge Isaiah Gibson visited Athens over the weekend instead of going to Oklahoma.

He officially committed to the Georgia Bulldogs on Monday, according to On3.

Gibson, 6-foot-3 and 263 pounds, enters his senior year at Warner Robins High School (Ga) after logging a team-high 17 sacks and 55 tackles for loss in 2023.

Per On3, Gibson is considered the second-best edge rusher in the 2025 recruiting class, the No. 27 overall prospect and the No. 7 ranked player in the Peach State.

Aside from Smart, fans can thank Georgia linebackers coach Chidera Uzo-Diribe for landing Gibson.

"I mostly got to talk to coach Uzo-Diribe," Gibson told Sports IS' Brooks Austin in May. "So we always have good conversations. I mean, like we are like brothers. We talk about llke every other day. We have a good relationship. So yeah, I've talked to him mostly outside of Coach Schumann."

With Gibson's commitment to Georgia, the Bulldogs have scored three five-star prospects in their 2025 recruiting class now after recently landing commits from five-star linebacker Zayden Walker and five-star tight end Elyiss Williams.

So far, Georgia has 15 total players committed with their 2025 recruiting class currently ranking No. 4 in the nation.
