It's that time of year when Georgia Bulldogs fans get their spring football fix at the annual G-Day scrimmage.

Georgia officially announced that their spring game will kick off on Saturday, April 12, at 1 p.m. ET, with the Dawg Walk set for 11:50 AM.

Admission for the scrimmage is set for $10, and fans can buy tickets starting on Monday, March 31.

Rumors circulated earlier this spring that Georgia might not have their annual G-Day with several other powerhouses cancelling theirs, however, head coach Kirby Smart confirmed last Tuesday that he wanted the extra practice.

"I want to have G-Day. But again we went through practice four, so practice one I couldn't say with certainty we were going to have it. Through practice four, I still feel good about it," Smart said. "We've been very fortunate on the injury side of things. We're very deficient at a couple of positions and if we lose one or two or three, it would convert into some kind of controlled practice, some kind of other format. But right now, we haven't been through scrimmages. We'll see where we go."

Smart also mentioned that the scrimmage would not be televised so that they would not have to worry about any time constraints.

"In terms of TV, I think it was more about being controlled on what time and in terms of we like to have recruits there," Smart said. "We like to have prospects come in. It's a big event. We have official visits, so we want to control the timing of it more and we want to be able to play at our pace and not have to worry about the constraints of being inside a window."

While the scrimmage won't be televised, fans can tune into Georgia Bulldog Radio Network for the live action.
