Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs just lost one of their best commits from the class of 2026.
According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, four-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle has flipped his commitment from Georgia to the Auburn Tigers.
This comes just three days after Toodle had a front row seat in watching the Dawgs take down the Tigers, 20-10, at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday night.
Toodle is the No. 14 linebacker and the No. 13 player in the state of Alabama from the class of 2026. He is also the 250th-ranked player nationally across all positions. Toodle had initially committed to Auburn before flipping to Georgia back in June.
“Home is where the heart is, and my love for Auburn never faded,” Toodle told Fawcett of his decision to flip back.
Without Toodle, Georgia has just one linebacker commit for 2026 from four-star prospect Nick Abrams II.
