Two days after visiting Athens, Arizona State transfer quarterback Jaden Rashada has committed to Georgia.
Rashada told On3 the morning of the 2024 NFL Draft.
The former four-star recruit from Pittsburg, CA initially de-committed from Miami and signed with Florida in 2022. However, he asked to be released from his national letter of intent after a $13 million NIL deal fell through.
That's when Rashada ultimately chose to sign with Arizona State where his dad played in the early 90's.
Rashada, a redshirt freshman, has four years left of eligibility and brings some in-game experience to Georgia. He played in three games for the Sun Devils last fall, completing 44 of his 82 pass attempts for 485 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions.
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart has made it clear that he wants four scholarship quarterbacks on the roster at all times, making Rashada his final guy alongside Carson Beck, Gunner Stockton and Ryan Puglisi.
