Spring practices have come and gone for Georgia football now that G-Day is in the books, and, with that, Bulldogs players have begun to enter the transfer portal.

Kirby Smart's team has lost a handful of players since the start of the week, with redshirt freshman wide receiver Tyler Williams among the latest to seek a change of scenery.

Williams saw action in three games as a true freshman at Georgia during 2023, reeling in 1 reception for 4 yards on the season. He did not receive any targets during Georgia's spring game and was a part of a stacked wide receivers group that very well could have seen him buried on the depth chart for the remainder of his time in Athens.

He joins the likes of running back Andrew Paul and fellow wideout Braxton Hicks as the latest Georgia players to enter the portal. The Bulldogs have seen 23 players put their names into the portal since the conclusion of the 2023 season.

Formerly a four-star recruit out of Lakeland High School in Lakeland, Florida, Williams displayed heavy interest in both UCF and Miami throughout his recruitment process.

Whether or not he ends up back in his home state will be something to keep an eye on as he looks for the next destination to continue his college football career.
