Jackson Cantwell, widely regarded as the top offensive tackle prospect in the nation for the class of 2026, is set to make a major announcement regarding his college future. The highly coveted five-star recruit has revealed that he will officially declare his college commitment on Tuesday, May 13.

Cantwell will choose between the Georgia Bulldogs, Miami (Florida) Hurricanes, Ohio State Buckeyes, or Oregon Ducks.

To share the moment with fans, Cantwell has posted a link to a scheduled YouTube Live stream, where he will go live and announce his decision. The live broadcast is set to begin at 2:45 p.m. ET, offering supporters, coaches, and recruiters an opportunity to tune in and witness the pivotal moment in his football journey.

Originally scheduled to announce his college commitment on April 30, Cantwell took to social media to inform fans and followers that he would be delaying his decision by nearly two weeks, setting a new announcement date for May 13.

In the meantime, he set up an unofficial visit to Georgia on May 10.

While there, Cantwell teased Bulldogs fans in a picture with recent Georgia commit and top-ranked quarterback, Jared Curtis.

"JC x JC?" Cantwell captioned the photo he posted on X/Twitter.

This picture and introduction of the two elite recruits came just a few days after Curtis openly admitted to reporters that he was actively helping Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs recruit Cantwell to Georgia.

“Very big, gotta have somebody to protect me,” Curtis told DawgNation’s Jeff Sentell on why he wants Cantwell to join him in Athens. “So I love Jackson, I’ve talked to Jackson a couple of times, and I’m excited to get to meet him and talk to him in person for the first time. So I’m excited.”

Fingers crossed that Cantwell makes the right decision.
