Kickoff time, TV info set for Georgia Bulldogs vs Texas Longhorns
A thrilling nighttime SEC showdown is set to take place Between the Hedges.
The Georgia Bulldogs (7-1, 5-1 SEC) are set to welcome the Texas Longhorns (7-2, 4-1 SEC) to Sanford Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 15, for what promises to be one of the most anticipated matchups of the season. The showdown between these two SEC powerhouses will take place “Between the Hedges” under the lights, with kickoff officially scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
This will mark the first meeting between the programs since their dramatic clash in last year’s SEC Championship Game, when quarterback Gunner Stockton stepped in for the injured Carson Beck and guided the Bulldogs to a narrow 22-19 victory. That win not only secured Georgia another conference title but also boosted Stockton’s reputation as a reliable future QB1.
Before that championship thriller, the two teams last faced off in Austin, Texas, where Georgia dominated, cruising to a 30-15 win. With both squads entering this year’s contest riding strong records and playoff aspirations, all eyes will be on Athens as these two face off in what’s quickly becoming one of the SEC’s most intriguing new rivalries.
