The Georgia Bulldogs have become one of the best college football programs in the nation at churning out NFL-ready offensive linemen. In the last four years alone Georgia has sent eight offensive linemen on to be selected in the NFL Draft. It's no wonder they continue to stack the offensive trenches with ease in recruiting.

However, the 2026 recruiting cycle is well underway and Kirby Smart has yet to land an official commitment from an offensive lineman. The team already has five high pedigree talents, but no help in the offensive trenches just yet. The good news? It looks like they might be getting their first big offensive line commit of the 2026 cycle here soon.

Zyon Guiles, Four Star Interior Offensive Line Recruit

Zyon Guiles, a rising four star interior offensive line recruit out of South Carolina, has been a target for Kirby Smart and company for quite some time now and he's finally announced his commitment date.

Guiles has narrowed his recruiting battle down to seven schools ahead of his March 21st commitment date: Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Florida State, Clemson, and South Carolina. While that might sound like ton of competition for the Bulldogs, it looks like it's really going to come down to just two or three schools.

Guiles' announcement of his March commitment came as a bit of a surprise to some in college football recruiting circles seeing as he still has four official visits to take this summer. And typically when a player accelerates their recruiting journey they already have a pretty good idea of where they're headed.

A to Z Sports could not confirm a Georgia lean with those close to Guiles, but all the arrows are pointing towards the Bulldogs, the South Carolina Gamecocks, and the Clemson Tigers as his true final three. He's taken visits with those three schools far more than any others, and he's fresh off of in-person meetings with all three recently.

Guiles just saw Georgia staffers in February. Then recently announced his scheduled official visits, including Georgia, South Carolina, Clemson, and Florida. Guiles had also recently shared some positive thoughts on Florida, acting as though he was hoping to build the relationships there even more with an official visit, but then suddenly moved up his commitment time table. Why?

One potential possibility: Georgia's dominant performance at the NFL Combine. Both Tate Ratledge and Jared Wilson tested out as 95th% athletes at their interior lineman positions in Indianapolis this past week, giving Guiles yet another reason to go with the Bulldogs. Both Ratledge and Wilson are expected to be Day Two draft picks, bringing Georgia's total number of offensive line NFL Draft selections in the last five years up to ten players.

If recent communication with staff and dominant Georgia Bulldogs performances at the Combine (and drafts over the last few years) are any indication, it looks like Guiles certainly could be landing with Georgia here soon. Let's hope that Kirby Smart and staff can close the deal.
