Four-star edge Chase Linton from the 2025 recruiting class has officially committed to the Red and Black.
Linton announced his decision on Wednesday afternoon, ultimately choosing the Bulldogs over Georgia Tech and Rutgers.
“I committed to Georgia because of the people,” Linton told On3. “Coach Diribe, Coach Smart and the people at Georgia made a difference. How they talk to me and my family, how concerned they are about my future as a man and the kind of people around the program at Georgia stood out to me.”
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Atlanta native and North Atlanta High School football star is the No. 132 overall prospect in the country, the No. 11 player at the edge position, and the 16th-ranked prospect from the state of Georgia, according to 247Sports.
With Linton's commitment, Georgia has 26 players locked into their 2025 recruiting cycle that now surpasses Ohio State for No. 1 in the nation.
Linton finished his senior season with the North Atlanta Warriors tallying 51 total tackles, including 31 solo, 16 tackles for loss, and nine sacks.
