Kirby Smart's Georgia Bulldogs are one of four schools still in play to land 2026 four-star recruit Nick Abrams.

On3's Hayes Fawcett reports Abrams has cut his list of contending schools from five to four within the last month.

"NEWS: Four-Star LB Nick Abrams is down to 4 Schools, he tells me for @on3recruits. The 6’2 220 LB from Owings Mills, MD will announce his college decision on July 16th. He’s locked in OVs to each of his finalists as well," Fawcett wrote April 29 on X/Twitter.

Abrams visited Athens last March, and it is safe to say that the Bulldogs left a lasting impression

“The environment was great,” Abrams told DawgsHQ following his unofficial visit. “From the moment I stepped into the indoor, I could hear the music blasting in the meeting rooms, and it didn’t change once the players got on the field. It was high intensity, especially because it was the first day in pads.

"This was my first SEC practice, so it was good to see the level of physicality being played…The team had high energy the whole day, and hearing them during the competition period was great. I love that competitive atmosphere and I definitely thrive in it.”

The other three schools Abrams is highly considering include the Michigan Wolverines, Alabama Crimson Tide, and Oregon Ducks.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker is set to visit all of his finalists before announcing his college decision on July 16. His official visit schedule includes Georgia (May 16–18), Michigan (June 6–8), and Alabama (June 13–15), before wrapping up with a cross-country trip to Oregon from June 20–22.

Abrams is rated as the No. 8 linebacker and the No. 165 overall prospect in the On3 rankings, which also list him as the No. 5 player in Maryland.
