Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are well in the mix to land speedy four-star linebacker Izayia Williams.

According to On3, their No. 2-ranked linebacker from the class of 2026 has an official visit with the Bulldogs scheduled for May 30 and June 1.

Williams, a Leesburg, FL native, logged 125 tackles (15 for loss), four sacks, and a pick-six at Tavares High School this past fall. He also rushed for 423 yards on 23 carries for six touchdowns and hauled in five receptions for 97 yards and four more scores. He proceeded to then turn heads at the Under Armour All-America game back in January.

Ahead of his official visit to Athens this summer, Williams complimented Smart and inside linebackers coach Glenn Schumann

“Coach (Glenn) Schumann and Kirby Smart have been doing this for so long coaching great players and being consistent with winning over the years," Williams.

In addition to Georgia, Williams also has official visits scheduled with Penn State, Alabama, Florida, Colorado, and Florida State.

Georgia currently has just five players committed to their class of 2026, but zero linebackers at the moment. Linebacker is a huge need for the Bulldogs as they prepare to lose some of their stars to next year's draft.
