The Georgia Bulldogs haven’t won their final game of the season since 2023, and they haven’t won a national championship since 2022.

The fact I’m even mentioning that like it’s a negative shows how incredible it is what the Bulldogs have accomplished under Kirby Smart.

Most programs would be over the moon accomplishing what Georgia’s accomplished the last few seasons. But the goal in Athens is national championships. And that’s what Georgia has their eyes on in 2026.

CBS Sports predicts which games Georgia will win and lose in 2026

The Bulldogs will face a nine-game SEC schedule in 2026, which will make the regular season a bit more difficult than usual.

CBS Sports, however, thinks Georgia will mostly cruise through the regular season. They have UGA going 11-1 with their only loss coming on the road against the Ole Miss Rebels.

That means CBS Sports has Georgia earning regular-season wins over Tennessee State, WKU, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Missouri, South Carolina, and Georgia Tech.

“The last time Kirby Smart won less than 10 games in a full season was back in 2016, his first year in Athens,” wrote CBS Sports’ John Talty. “With a pretty manageable conference slate in 2026, you should be bullish about the Bulldogs’ chances of besting expectations.”

Georgia will kick off the regular season on September 5 at home against Tennessee State.
