Georgia quarterback Carson Beck was among the players displayed on the cover of EA Sports NCAA Football 25, one of the most highly anticipated video games in the nation as it makes its return.
When the PlayStation Store dropped the reveal of the cover, Beck, in addition to Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, Michigan running back Donovan Edwards, Colorado wide receiver and cornerback Travis Hunter, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe and Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins were featured.
Beck is the first Georgia player to ever appear on the cover, and there were several responses to the leaked content that said Beck should have been included front and center on it.
There's a case for that, considering Beck has been pinned as an early Heisman Trophy candidate and a potential early first-round draft selection after he finished out his first season as the starter with a 72.4% completion rate, 3,941 passing yards, 24 touchdowns and 6 interceptions in 2023.
The game trailer is set to roll out within the month, though no official launch date has been set for the game. It has been nearly a decade since the last release of game, with the most recent edition hitting the shelves in July of 2013.
One of the most notable things about the game making its reappearance is that it is doing so for the first time ever since the start of the NIL era. Now, players can opt in and receive payment for being included in the game.
