Brady is a well-regarded offensive coordinator who really made a name for himself during his stints with LSU, the Carolina Panthers, and the Buffalo Bills. His big break came in 2019 when he joined LSU as the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach under head coach Ed Orgeron.
Brady’s offensive strategy was key in helping quarterback Joe Burrow have a record-setting season, earning him the Heisman Trophy, while LSU went on to win the national championship. That season transformed LSU’s offense into one of the most explosive in college football history, and it really put Brady on the map as a rising star in coaching.
After his success at LSU, Brady took his talents to the NFL in 2020, becoming the offensive coordinator for the Panthers. He had some innovative moments there, but his time with the team was a bit of a mixed bag, mainly due to inconsistent quarterback play and injuries to star running back Christian McCaffrey. The Panthers decided to part ways with him in 2021 after struggling to put up consistent offensive results.
Fast forward to 2023, and Brady is now with the Buffalo Bills, first as their quarterbacks coach and now stepping into the role of offensive coordinator. His work with star quarterback Josh Allen showcases his knack for adapting and developing dynamic offenses. With his talent, Brady is definitely one to watch, and there could be even more leadership opportunities for him in the future.
