The 2025 NFL Draft has become a significant focus for many NFL teams. With injuries impacting rosters, coaching decisions not panning out, and various teams underperforming, the top contenders have clearly distinguished themselves from the others.

Our recent mock draft for 2025 incorporates the latest evaluations from the college football scene. And best yet, this is a full 7-round 2025 NFL mock draft. We used the latest draft order entering Monday Night Football.

Who will your favorite team select? With half the season so go and a full free agency period, things will change. But this is how I see the draft as of today.

7-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft

1) New England Patriots: James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee

With Drake Maye symbolizing the Patriots' offensive future, New England is well-positioned to secure a significant trade package. No tackle or receiver surpasses James Pearce Jr. The agile and quick pass-rusher could serve as a cornerstone for New England's defense for years to come.

2) Jacksonville Jaguars: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado

Travis Hunter, who excels as both a receiver and cornerback, is undoubtedly the top player in his class. The Jaguars are in need of standout talent, and it's difficult to imagine Hunter not making it to the Pro Bowl, regardless of the position he plays. With Jacksonville requiring assistance in both receiving and cornerback roles, this pairing effectively addresses their needs.

3) New Orleans Saints: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Shedeur Sanders possesses the intelligence, work ethic, precision, and creativity necessary to become a top-10 NFL quarterback. A question worth considering is whether his father will permit him to join the Saints, but it's clear that Sanders is the standout passer in this draft class. The Saints are in dire need of enhanced playmaking and skill at that position.

4) Carolina Panthers: Cam Ward, QB, Miami (FL)

Carolina remains a strong contender for one of my top two quarterbacks. With a fluid throwing motion capable of delivering precise passes at all three levels of the field, Ward possesses the physical qualities of a franchise quarterback. His mental acuity and commitment justify a high draft pick, and the Panthers need to witness significant improvement from Bryce Young to justify passing on Ward.

5) Cleveland Browns: Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

Cleveland misses out on the only two quarterbacks in the draft who hold a first-round grade, so reaching for one here wouldn’t be wise. Instead, selecting the best player available is the more logical choice. Carter, who stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs 259 pounds, is a top-tier athlete and currently the second-best edge rusher in the class.

6) Las Vegas Raiders: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

Las Vegas has several areas to address, particularly at tackle and receiver, but there’s also an opportunity to strengthen the defensive backfield with a promising addition. Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 200 pounds, Will Johnson could be the Raiders' equivalent of Sauce Gardner. Over the past few years, he has established himself as one of the top ballhawks in the country, showcasing outstanding man coverage abilities.

7) New York Giants: Kelvin Banks, OT, Texas

The best pure pass blocker in the class is Kelvin Banks. The Evan Neal experiment has gone horribly wrong, and reaching on a project quarterback doesn’t make sense. Banks offers greater strength and superior mobility for his large build. He's expected to reach at least Pro Bowl status in his career.

8) Miami Dolphins: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

Miami brought on Chop Robinson last year, but bringing in another Big Ten defender would definitely enhance his contributions. Mason Graham is a disruptive tackle who draws positive comparisons to former Dolphin Christian Wilkins. It's crucial for Miami to continue improving their defensive line, and this selection certainly addresses that need.

9) Tennessee Titans: LT Overton, EDGE, Alabama

Missing out on Sanders and Ward is tough, so Tennessee's best approach is to focus on rebuilding other aspects around the position. LT Overton showcases remarkable versatility, capable of playing both interior tackle and edge rusher, reminiscent of Calais Campbell with his impressive speed for his size. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 280 pounds, he has significantly improved this year and has emerged as Alabama's top defender.

10) New York Jets: Cameron Williams, OT, Texas

Discussions with scouts regarding this draft class have highlighted that I underestimated Cameron Williams compared to how teams view him. He’s an exceptional athlete with impressive strength and meets more of the physical criteria than the other tackles in this class. The Jets made a smart move by selecting their left tackle in the 2024 draft, and now they’ve secured their future right tackle as well.

11) Dallas Cowboys: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

It’s difficult to believe that Dallas would pass on a receiver in this situation, especially considering their offensive depth chart. Luther Burden III could serve as a key target alongside CeeDee Lamb. Burden provides exceptional ability to make plays after the catch and has versatility as a deep threat.

12) Indianapolis Colts: Malaki Starks, SAF, Georgia

The Colts have maximized the potential of their relatively unknown cornerback group given their current defensive lineup. Selecting a cornerback is logical, but the talent disparity with Malaki Starks makes him impossible to overlook. Starks possesses exceptional range, tackling ability, and instincts that are hard to find.

13) Cincinnati Bengals: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

I’ve been hesitant to predict receivers for Cincinnati because it seemed like an easy choice, but Tetairoa McMillan would be a strong upgrade over Tee Higgins. The towering 6-foot-5, 210-pound player displays superior agility and fluidity in his routes while also showcasing comparable dominance when it comes to catching the ball. Joe Burrow would definitely approve of this addition.

14) Seattle Seahawks: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

An impactful playmaker who has revolutionized the Penn State offense, Tyler Warren is exactly the kind of asset that Ryan Grubb will appreciate. The Seahawks already boast strong athletic talent, but bringing in another versatile offensive player will be beneficial. While this may be more of a luxury selection than a necessity for a tackle, it’s possible that Abraham Lucas’ long-term prospects aren't as bleak as they might appear.

15) Los Angeles Rams: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

The moment is approaching when Cooper Kupp may either be sidelined in the Rams' future plans or dealing with an injury. Emeka Egbuka has a lot to offer, and it’s his versatility that makes him an ideal fit for Los Angeles. With strength, speed, intelligence, and reliability, Egbuka pairs well with Puka Nacua as a multi-dimensional threat.

16) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M

Teams highly value versatile talent, and Nic Scourton possesses a wealth of it. Standing at 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 285 pounds, he can play in various positions and boasts a notable athletic edge. With the Buccaneers already having strong tackles, assigning Scourton a specific role on the edge will enable him to thrive without the burden of extensive learning.

17) San Francisco 49ers: Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina

This season has been challenging for the once-stellar 49ers defense. The team is struggling with a shortage of high-caliber talent after losing several players to free agency. Shavon Revel Jr., who is currently rehabbing from a torn ACL, is considered the most athletic cornerback in this class. Not only does he possess the required ball skills to make a significant impact, but Revel has the potential to revitalize the defensive backfield in San Francisco.

18) Chicago Bears: Will Campbell, OT, LSU

With Chicago selecting in this segment of the first round, the debate over whether to prioritize a pass-rusher or an offensive lineman becomes more compelling. For the moment, they opt for Will Campbell, capable of excelling as either a tackle or guard. The Bears need to ensure they don’t mishandle Caleb Williams like they have with previous quarterbacks, which serves as the deciding factor.

19) Denver Broncos: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

Colston Loveland, standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 245 pounds, presents an immediate solution for an offense in need of skill players. Sean Payton, known for maximizing the tight end role in his offenses, may find new opportunities in Denver, especially since he currently lacks a standout player at that position. Loveland's skills in blocking and ability to create plays after catching the ball will quickly establish him as one of the top contributors at tight end.

20) Arizona Cardinals: Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

It's time to get Jonathan Gannon an athletic pass-rusher with great potential. Mykel Williams, standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 265 pounds, possesses exceptional strength, speed, and flexibility when engaging in contact. While he may not be as polished as teams would prefer to see for a higher pick, it’s not realistic to let him slide any further down.

21) Los Angeles Chargers: Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas

Providing Justin Herbert with a speedy receiver like Isaiah Bond, who boasts a 4.2 speed, is crucial, but that's just one aspect of what he offers. Bond definitely puts significant strain on defenses with his quickness, but Jim Harbaugh will also value his ability to run precise routes. Unlike more spread-oriented teams, the Chargers can leverage Bond's skills beyond just his speed.

22) Atlanta Falcons: Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College

You can expect some skepticism about whether Donovan Ezeiruaku's 6-foot-2 stature will translate well to the NFL. While it's reasonable to question this, Ezeiruaku's success at Boston College stems from his polished skills and impressive attributes. Similar to Laiatu Latu from the recent class, Ezeiruaku is seen as a potential Day 1 contributor.

23) Green Bay Packers: Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss

The fastest defensive tackle in the draft joins the Packers at an opportune moment. With the team looking to overhaul their defense, they have multiple options available. However, skipping on Walter Nolen wouldn’t be wise, given that the Packers require influential players as their defense ages in 2025. While he will need to work on his pad-level consistency, the potential he offers makes him a valuable investment.

24) Baltimore Ravens: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame

Despite bringing in Nate Wiggins this past recruiting class, Baltimore's main worry remains the depth of talent in their secondary for crucial games. Benjamin Morrison showcases strong physicality and skills with the ball, having led the nation in interceptions in 2022 and recording 10 passes defensed in 2023. Although he's currently recovering from a torn ACL, his presence offers some value to Baltimore.

25) Houston Texans: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

Derrick Harmon has emerged as one of the standout players this season. After moving from Michigan State to Oregon, the formidable tackle has established himself as a top-notch pass-rusher, highlighted by his critical strip of Quinshon Judkins from Ohio State, which turned the tide in that game. While Houston has done an excellent job revamping its roster, Harmon would undoubtedly shine as a premier tackle.

26) Philadelphia Eagles: Landon Jackson, EDGE, Arkansas

Rather than seeking assistance from Georgia, the Eagles are turning to an SEC competitor. Landon Jackson has emerged as one of the top defensive players in the country, making him a more immediate contributor compared to Nolan Smith. Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 280 pounds, he is perfectly suited as a strong-side pass-rusher and can step onto the field right away for a team with playoff aspirations.

27) Pittsburgh Steelers: Tacario Davis, CB, Arizona

Rolling out two large cornerbacks capable of throwing off receivers with their size and physical play would not only create a distinct identity for Pittsburgh's secondary but also align with their overall style of play. Tacario Davis has emerged as one of the top corners in 2024, permitting just 24 catches on 44 targets. Standing at 6-foot-4, he is ideally suited for Pittsburgh’s zone scheme and off-ball positioning.

28) Minnesota Vikings: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Identifying a team where Ashton Jeanty would be a valuable addition isn’t challenging, but determining the appropriate value for a running back can be more complicated. As one of the top offensive talents in college football, Jeanty is set to lead an impressive group of running backs. He has the potential to become Minnesota’s next All-Pro running back and fans may see similarities to Adrian Peterson.

29) Washington Commanders: Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

Brandon Coleman, a third-round pick in 2024, could be the future for Washington at one of the tackle positions, but they still need another tackle. Prior to suffering an ACL tear against Oregon, Josh Simmons was outstanding at Ohio State. His athleticism and strength are evident, and he should be ready to start in his first year once he recovers.

30) Buffalo Bills: Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia

Jalon Walker's ability to play both middle linebacker and on the edge gives him a three-down impact that distinguishes him from many off-ball players. Weighing in at 245 pounds, he is robustly built, combining impressive strength with unexpected speed. His skill set is more dynamic than what Buffalo has acquired in recent drafts, and notably, he can work alongside Dorian Williams instead of merely taking his place.

31) Detroit Lions: Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss

The options for edge talent on the board are limited, but Princely Umanmielen remains the top potential first-round pick available. The Lions urgently need to find a complementary player to team up with Aidan Hutchinson, especially with his injury complicating matters. Umanmielen possesses impressive speed, good bend, and a strong work ethic, making him an ideal candidate for a secondary pass-rusher.

32) Kansas City Chiefs: Shemar Stewart, DL, Texas A&M

Choosing a pure defensive tackle is a logical move for Kansas City, especially since Chris Jones may need a successor. However, the team would gain more by having versatility across various positions. Shemar Stewart has also demonstrated superior performance compared to the other tackles available, and his ability to rush the passer from different locations adds to his value. Standing at 6 feet 6 inches and weighing 290 pounds, he's a powerhouse capable of winning with both speed and strength.
