The Michigan Wolverines 2025 season has come to an end, and while it didn’t end the way that fans perhaps wanted it to, there’s plenty of optimism for the road ahead. New head coach Kyle Whittingham has already begun assembling a strong staff and has hit the ground running with player retention.
A few names have already been rumored to be following Whittingham from Utah to Michigan, and some players have already left the Wolverines program with the portal officially open.
Michigan has a list of positions they will need to target in the portal, but it’s tough to gauge their general process until we know for sure on the players that will stay. Players like Bryce Underwood, Andrew Marsh, Trey Pierce, and others will have to make their preferences known on whether they stay or go, and that will sway Michigan’s approach in the portal.
