We are only days away until the EA Sports College Football 26 video game is going to be released, which is scheduled to be available for the public on July 10th. If you preordered the newest game, it’ll be ready three days earlier on July 7th.
The fanbases around the country are all ready to get obsessed over the game and play for a million hypothetical hours, and that includes Notre Dame football, which will undoubtedly be one of the highest rated teams in the game. As fans, we are left to speculate where our favorite teams and players, should and will be ranked.
While browsing the wonderful world of X, a platform called Team Crafters had put out the ratings for the 2025 Fighting Irish team. There were some interesting ratings, and some less entertaining. That includes the top five highest rated offensive players, which are listed below.
RB Jeremiyah Love – 95 OVR
Nobody should be surprised that Love is the top ranked offensive player for Notre Dame, and top overall player for that matter. Fresh off of a season where the junior eclipsed 1,100 yards and 17 touchdowns, Love is one of the best running back we have seen in South Bend in a very long time. The St. Louis native has a 95 speed rating in that projection, which also shouldn’t be surprising. Love is a special football player.
OT Aamil Wagner – 91 OVR
Wagner was the only offensive lineman for Notre Dame that started every game in 2024. While he played pretty well, this rating does feel a touch high. Regardless, Irish offensive lineman are typically going to get the benefit of the doubt. Wagner is set to start at right tackle for the second straight season, and will be one of the bigger leaders up front.
WR Malachi Fields – 91 OVR
For the sake of all Notre Dame fans out there, let’s hope that this ranking is correct. A lot of expected of Fields, who transferred from Virginia this offseason. He is a huge boundary receiver who brings some incredible upside to the table. Fields edged out Jaden Greathouse as the top pass catcher on the board, with Greathouse coming in at 87 overall.
RB Jadarian Price – 88 OVR
While most of the attention goes to Love at running back, Price is also a very good player. He managed to rush over 700 yards and seven touchdowns despite Love carrying the heavy workload. The video game appears to be not be underrating him, like some have.
OG Charles Jagusah – 88 OVR
When he’s at his best, Jagusah is the best offensive lineman on the team. The problem is that Jagusah missed the majority of the 2024 season due to a pec injury, but when he got back healthy, he was tremendous. At 6-7 and 331 pounds, Jagusah is a massive offensive tackle who is shifting inside full time to right guard in 2025. His upside is tremendous.
