The massive Notre Dame recruiting momentum has continued over the last couple of days, securing commitments from 2026 pass catchers Kaydon Finley and Devin Fitzgerald. The Fighting Irish are now just one step away from putting together their best wide receiver class in several years. There’s reason to believe that they will solidify here very, very soon.

With Finley and Fitzgerald now in the class, the 2026 group is nearly finished. There aren’t many true targets on the board left at this point, but there are still a couple of very important ones who have decisions on the horizon. With that in mind, let’s predict the next three commitments in the class for the Fighting Irish.

This potentially elite class is going to be defined by the finish from head coach Marcus Freeman and his staff.

WR Brayden Robinson – Red Oak (Texas) High School

To try and finish the trifecta, Robinson is set to make his commitment on July 6th. Miami has been the other top contender for the Texas pass catcher for some time now. The 5-8, 160-pound wide receiver might be small but he’s absolutely dynamic in space. Notre Dame needs more guys that can make big things happen with the football in their hands. That’s Robinson summed up perfectly.

S Nick Reddish – Charlotte (N.C.) Independence

As long as Notre Dame chose to push, they were always going to be a top contender for Reddish. With his older brother playing for Virginia Tech, that is the main battle to know. Mike Mickens is an outstanding developer and recruiter. I think he gets this one done, cementing a pristine secondary class.

DL Elijah Golden – Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney

Set to make his decision on July 26th, Notre Dame is in a fierce battle with Alabama for Golden. The allure of the Southern power can’t be understated, but Al Washington and the Fighting Irish staff have been consistent and were very early in this process. Golden is the disruptive three technique that this class needs desperately.
