This past weekend was a big one for the Ohio State Buckeyes with a number of recruits on campus in Columbus.

One of the biggest recruits on campus was 2025 four-star running back Bo Jackson, who is a primary in-state target with interest from some of the best college programs.

Coming away from his official visit, the Buckeyes appear to be in the driving seat over Georgia, Alabama, and Michigan.

On3’s Steve Wiltfong entered a prediction that the Buckeyes would be ending up with the 6-foot, 205-pound athlete from Cleveland, Ohio. According to the 247 Sports Composite, Jackson is the No. 5 running back in the country and the No. 81 overall player in the country.

Before visiting Ohio State this past weekend, Jackson was in Athens on Georgia’s campus two weekends ago. Next weekend it will be a trip to Tuscaloosa for the blue-chip running back to visit Alabama.

The Buckeyes are in a position to add two to even three running backs in this class and that is no secret. Jordon Davison and Isaiah West are two other running backs in the class that the Buckeyes are pressing hard for. There is a possibility that Ohio State replaces both TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins after the season, so there will be plenty of reps to be had.

Ohio State has the No. 2 class in the country according to 247 Sports and a commitment from Jackson would be huge in closing the gap between the Buckeyes and Notre Dame, who has 21 commits to 12 for Ohio State currently.

Jackson will surely get his decision out of the way before his senior season which should be a huge one in the stat book. As a junior, Jackson put up just under 30 touchdowns and 1,700 rushing yards.
