Ohio State has just four commitments so far in the class of 2026, so we are still very early on in that process. Most of the 2025 class recently arrived on campus.

Still, the Buckeyes already have their most important recruit committed potentially. Wideout Chris Henry Jr. is the No. 1 player at his position and has been committed to the Buckeyes since July of 2023.

Even though he is committed, Henry has still shown interest in other programs. The five-star player will take multiple official visits in June, including one to Ohio State.

Henry will start his visit to Miami during the final weekend of May into June. After that, the star wideout will see USC (June 6) and Oregon (June 13) on consecutive weekends. Official visits will wrap up for Henry by being in Columbus at Ohio State on June 20.

Ohio State will have to hold Henry’s commitment for over two years to get to signing day with him. The No. 6 ranked player in the country is a player who could look to play as a freshman right away. Henry won’t have a Jeremiah Smith-level impact surely, but he will play more than your typical freshman during his first season in college.

The 6-foot-5 wideout and son of the late Cincinnati Bengals WR Chris Henry has built a great connection with Ohio State offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Brian Hartline. As long as Hartline is in Columbus, there should be no real worry of losing Henry’s commitment.

These other schools will make their pushes for Henry and Oregon is seen as the biggest threat to potentially flip. Ohio State having the last official visit is a positive thing to take away as well.
