Ohio State got the job done in Week 10 of the college football season against Penn State and they are now 7-1 on the season and the No. 3 team in the country. It wasn’t the best of games, but the Buckeyes were able to grab a 20-13 win.

The Buckeyes were not as efficient as they would hoped to have been on offense. A 14-10 lead for Ohio State at halftime turned into just six more points on two field goals for the offense. Punching it in the end zone will be key as bigger games approach down the road.

Quarterback Will Howard threw an interception in his return home to Pennsylvania but had a rather gutsy outing overall to help the Buckeyes win.

“We willed ourselves to win that game,” Howard said after the game, via 10TV’s Adam King. “We can win games not even when it’s perfect, you know. I’d be on the lookout for when we finally play a perfect game. I think we’re going to be a scary team when we’re clicking on all cylinders and all firing at the same time.”

Howard believes the Buckeyes have still not put it all together and that they can improve a bunch more. If the No. 3 team in the country can do just that, then the sky's the limit for them.

Against the Nittany Lions, Howard completed 16-of-24 passes for 182 yards and two touchdowns, along with an interception. On the season, he has thrown for 1,977 yards, 19 touchdowns, and five interceptions.

Ohio State’s win over Penn State was one the Buckeyes had to have after losing on the road to Oregon a few weeks ago. One of Ohio State’s goals is to win a Big Ten championship and that remains in front of them.
