Oklahoma Sooners to get back a few weapons for their last game of the regular season vs. LSU Tigers

Football is the most brutal of the four major American sports played in the U.S., and I'm not sure anyone would argue that. So, injuries are going to happen, whether we like it or not. And, this year, while they have happened to everyone, it feels like no one has had it worse than the Oklahoma Sooners.
And, that's probably not true, but it certainly feels that way.
The Sooners have pretty much been without a starting offensive line the entire year, have used multiple different combinations up front, and have just played poorly as a result of the inconsistency. And in the wide receiver room, no one has had it worse.
For pretty much the whole season, the Sooners have been without their best five wide receivers. The running backs have been pretty banged up, too. How are you supposed to continue to win and build a winning culture with those things happening?
Luckily for the Sooners, they won last week against Alabama with little to nothing on their roster. Going into this week against the LSU Tigers, the Sooners should be getting some weapons back to help out a bit. And with how bad that LSU defense is, they will certainly help.
According to the Sooners' Friday night availability report, the team is expected to get Brenan Thompson on Saturday night, along with starting running back Javonte Barnes back.
True freshman Xavier Robinson had been filling the void that Barnes left, and he has been amazing, but having another back to add to that three-man rotation will only help.
It also appears that Andrel Anthony will be out, as he was listed as questionable.
Oklahoma Sooners could get back a player that hasn’t played since Week 1 this week against LSU
The Sooners will greatly need that.
