The Oklahoma Sooners have had some of the worst injury luck in the college football world this season, including entering this season when we thought they may not have a single healthy offensive tackle able to play. Well, maybe that's a bit exaggerated, but it's been pretty bad.

This week we thought the Sooners would possibly be going up against a great Alabama defensive front with little help on the offensive line. And, while that still may be the case, they should have a starting-caliber offensive tackle ready to go on Saturday.

The Sooners released their injury report on Wednesday night and it's much better than anyone could anticipate.

Of course, the guys we knew would be out, like Jayden Gibson, Andrel Anthony, Nic Anderson, etc, are all still out. But, Jalil Farooq is questionable, and will likely play. Now, Deion Burks may not play, as that was a pretty nasty concussion against Missouri last week.

But, there is great news regarding offensive tackle Michael Tarquin, who was not listed at all after being pretty banged up. In other words, barring anything crazy or any setbacks at all, Tarquin should play.

Jackson Arnold, or Michael Hawkins, whoever is going to play, should be excited now.
