The Oklahoma Sooners did not have the best offensive line last season. Usually, they are known for producing NFL players on the offensive line. When you look at some of the best offensive linemen in the NFL, a lot of them played at Oklahoma. And, they would love to get back to that after having one of the worst offensive lines they have had in some time.

This year, it was a mix of injuries, bad schemes, bad play calling, and just not the players the Sooners are used to having on the offensive side of the trenches. They just weren't as talented and had the technical skills we are used to seeing. And, that's really no one person's fault.

So, they have to get back to building the trenches. They have Michael Fasusi coming in. Now, they are trying to get another five-star-plus offensive lineman.

Immanuel Iheanacho is a top high school football player at Georgetown Prep in Maryland. He's in the 2026 recruiting class. At 6'7" and 345 pounds, he's a five-star offensive tackle, considered the No. 2 tackle and No. 2 overall prospect in his class.

His size and athletic skills have made him a target for many colleges. He's particularly interested in Oregon and Georgia, though he's also got offers from schools like USC, Alabama, and Auburn. Oregon is currently his top choice due to its coaching staff and program, but he appreciates Georgia's physical style of play. However, he has a visit to Oklahoma on his calendar.

Besides football, Iheanacho plays basketball, showing his athletic range. He's viewed as a potential game-changer for any college team. His recruitment is still open, with official visits planned, including one to Georgia, as everyone waits to see where he'll commit.

The Sooners need a commitment like him if they really want to have the best offensive line in the country.
