Sooners’ newest 2027 commit is already doing his part by recruiting other elite recruits to Oklahoma
The Sooners love Elijah Harmon’s recruiting.
The Oklahoma Sooners needed to keep their recruiting hot streak going with their 2027 class. The 2026 class they just wrapped up has some very underrated players, more than the rankings sites will show with stars. The 2027 class has some elite players, too, and is on pace to be even better.
Now, one of those players is already recruiting others to join in on the special thing that Oklahoma has going. Four-Star defensive tackle Elijah Harmon is making sure he does his part.
Elijah Harmon is recruiting elite WR Quentin Hale
The Sooners currently have the No. 1 2027 class after wrapping up the No. 15 2026 class. They’ve recently landed some huge names in 2027, too, to ensure the class stays at or near the top. Recently, Oklahoma has landed four-star defensive tackle Elijah Harmon, who’s from Inglewood, California.
Oklahoma has made a statement in recruiting California as of late. Now, Harmon is trying to help them continue that. Elite four-star wide receiver Quentin Hale is from the same area that Harmon is from, so the defensive tackle recruiting him to Oklahoma only feels right.
Hale really likes five schools that all stand out to him. Of course, he’s high on Oklahoma and has a visit planned there this upcoming offseason. Hale also likes the LSU Tigers, Texas A&M Aggies, Texas Longhorns, Alabama Crimson Tide, and the USC Trojans. Getting him away from USC, his hometown school that has also produced some insane wide receivers the last few years, including the current Biletnikoff winner Makai Lemon.
Where Oklahoma has the edge is that they’re looking like one of the best schools in the country, positioned for future SEC success, and that No. 1-ranked class in 2027 certainly helps, too. The Sooners have momentum, and as general manager Jim Nagy said, momentum in recruiting is very real.
