How to watch, listen to Penn State Nittany Lions at UCLA Bruins: Drew Allar needs a bounceback game in the worst way
The Nittany Lions need to figure it out with Drew Allar and quickly.
This is a crucial game for the Penn State Nittany Lions, as they try to recover from the sting that was losing 30-24 in overtime to the Oregon Ducks.
It wasn’t just a normal game for the Nittany Lions, as it was the annual whiteout game and a chance to not just get their revenge for their loss in the Big Ten Championship Game. It was also an opportunity for Drew Allar and James Franklin to silence the doubters, and they failed to do so. Allar threw the game-ending interception in the second overtime period.
Now, this is where things get to be difficult. Can they rebound and get things back on track, including when they travel to play the Ohio State Buckeyes on Halloween weekend? This is still a team capable of competing for a national championship, but they have to prove they can win the big game. Until they do, it will be hard for analysts to take them seriously. It’s especially the case with Allar, who has a lot of narratives he needs to change
The road to getting back on track starts on Saturday against quarterback Nico Iamaleava and the UCLA Bruins out west, and they are in a bad way. They have already fired head coach DeShaun Foster and have started 0-4 on the season. They will be looking to get their first win of the season, and won’t make it easy on Penn State. Here’s how you can watch the game.
