Now former New York Giants HC Brian Daboll was seen dawning some Penn State gear on Tuesday, according to the New York Post. Daboll is now open to take a job anywhere he sees fit. The also former Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator could look to head to the CFB ranks if given the correct opportunity.

Former Penn State offensive lineman Landon Tengwall revealed that Daboll’s son went to the university. Daboll’s son was a manager for the team, according to the former lineman.

Daboll is a five-time Super Bowl champion as an assistant coach. He was also an assistant at Alabama when they won the 2018 CFP national title. Daboll finished his Giants HC tenure in the pros with a 20-40-1 overall record. He did, however, lead the team to the postseason in 2022 and earned Coach of the Year honors.

At other times in his coaching career, Daboll also spent time under Nick Saban and Bill Belichick, two of the greatest coaching minds in football history.

We will see how the Nittany Lions navigate this coaching search. Regardless, this was a moment worth noting with a candidate who just became available this week.
