How to watch Texas A&M Aggies vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish: Can Marcel Reed keep the momentum in South Bend?
The Aggies are looking for revenge after last year’s season opening loss.
The Texas A&M Aggies are set to leave College Station for the first time this weekend when they head to South Bend to take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
The first two weeks of the season saw the Aggies host two solid G5 teams and put up 40 points on each. The other side of the coin is the defense allowed 20+ points to each team. The biggest question mark for the Aggies was going to be how quarterback Marcel Reed thrived as the starter from the start of the season.
He was solid against two of the weaker defenses he will face all season, but it’s a really good way to start. He’s thrown for 509 yards and seven touchdowns, while also running for 105 yards and a touchdown.
South Bend is not an easy place to play, but this Aggies team is much better on the offensive side of the football this time around. It’s set to be a really interesting matchup, and one that head coach Mike Elko needs to win.
