The 2024 college football recruiting cycle is all wrapped up. The last few years it seems there would always be one or two high pedigree holdouts into late spring, even with the advent of the Early Signing Period in December. But this year National Signing Day saw the final few blue chip recruits put pen to paper, setting the team rankings in stone (at least until half these players inevitably transfer).
For those unfamiliar, there are two primary authorities when it comes to college football team recruiting rankings, the 247SportsComposite and the On3 Industry Consensus. Both account for all the major recruiting service rankings across the entirety of college football to build out a combined score for each team and rank them accordingly.
This list does not account for transfer class rankings, as those are rather new to the recruiting space, making the validity and accuracy on those hard to verify just yet. This list measures how well teams brought players in from the high school ranks, which is still the best method to build a sustainable winning program (sorry, Deion).
So, without further ado, let's see how the Top 100 college football football recruiting classes stacked up after National Signing Day.
