The Dallas Cowboys have made their moves in free agency and have signed all eight of their 2023 draft picks.

With rookie minicamps set to commence over the weekend, the football juices are running wild throughout the entire NFL. For the Cowboys, the chance to finally make a deep playoff run and legitimately compete for a Super Bowl has been there the previous two seasons but faded out prematurely, making that fire burn even more this season.

As the Cowboys look to win their second NFC East crown in three years and make a third consecutive trip to the postseason for the first time since the 1990s, let's check out when they'll be playing their 17 opponents.

Here is the full schedule:

  • Week 1: @ New York Giants (Sunday, Sept. 10, 7:20 pm CT)
  • Week 2: vs New York Jets (Sunday, Sept. 17, 3:25 pm CT)
  • Week 3: @ Arizona Cardinals (Sunday, Sept. 24, 3:25 pm CT)
  • Week 4: vs New England Patriots (Sunday, Oct. 1, 3:25 pm CT)
  • Week 5: @ San Francisco 49ers (Sunday, Oct. 8, 7:20 pm CT)
  • Week 6: @ Los Angeles Chargers (Monday, Oct. 16, 7:15 pm CT)
  • Week 7: Bye Week
  • Week 8: vs Los Angeles Rams (Sunday, Oct. 29, 12:00 pm CT)
  • Week 9: @ Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, Nov. 5, 3:25 pm CT)
  • Week 10: vs New York Giants (Sunday, Nov. 12, 3:25 pm CT)
  • Week 11: @ Carolina Panthers (Sunday, Nov. 19, 12:00 pm CT)
  • Week 12: vs Washington Commanders (Thursday, Nov. 23, 3:30 pm CT)
  • Week 13: vs Seattle Seahawks (Thursday, Nov. 30, 7:15 pm CT)
  • Week 14: vs Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, Dec. 10, 7:20 pm CT)
  • Week 15: @ Buffalo Bills (Sunday, Dec. 17, 3:25 pm CT)
  • Week 16: @ Miami Dolphins (Sunday, Dec. 24, 3:25 pm CT)
  • Week 17: vs Detroit Lions (Saturday, Dec. 30, 7:15 pm CT)
  • Week 18: @ Washington Commanders (TBD)

So, the Cowboys have eight home games and nine away games in 2023, and as usual, they have their fair share of prime-time games with six.

Dallas has several tough stretches on their schedule.

Starting the season off on the road against the Giants will be challenging, and then hosting the Jets in their home opener with hated nemesis Aaron Rodgers on the opposite side is huge. They battle the 49ers and Chargers before their Week 7 bye and then play the Eagles and Giants in two of the next three games.

The hardest stretch at the moment would probably be Weeks 13 through 18 to close the season with three of their final four games on the road. NFC East and playoff seedings will likely be decided during this span.

The Cowboys have the path to glory, and now it's in them to bring a sixth championship home.
