That'll do it. The Detroit Lions have now signed their entire 2023 draft class to their rookie deals. Safety Brian Branch completed the rookie signings on blank per the the Lions social media.
Branch and his agents at Klutch Sports Group were able to come to terms with the Lions on a rookie deal just before rookies are due to report to training camp on Wednesday. That's one less thing for the Lions to have to worry about now.
Details on Branch's contract are as follows. The Lions signed him to a four year deal worth $8.021 million. He'll also have a $2.833 million signing bonus.
Branch is slated to be a big part of the Lions secondary in 2023 and the near future. It's good that both sides were able to get this done so there won't be any sort of holdout.
