You have to be just be proud of where you come from. Detroit Lions fans and Michigan natives are really good at that. There's reason to be proud of growing up in or around Detroit. We gave the world some of the best music, automation, food and art that they could ever ask for. The other thing that gets produced in Detroit is football players.

Look at that. Detroit high schools produced more NFL players on rosters than any other city in the country this past weekend.
Sauce Gardner and Brandon Graham are two very notable players. But there's more. Here's some names for you.

- Eagles corner Avonte Maddox went to Martin Luther King High
- Texans corner Tavierre Thomas went to Allen Academy
- Bills corner Cam Lewis went to Consortium College Prep
- Browns receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones went to Cass Tech
- Ravens linebacker Del'Shawn Philips wen to Cass Tech
- 49ers offensive lineman Jaylon Moore went to Consortium
- Cowboys Edge Chauncey Golston went to East English Village
- 49ers corner Ambry Thomas went to Martin Luther King
- 49ers corner Samuel Womack went to East English Village
- Cowboys defensive tackle Jonathan Hankins went to Southeastern
- 49ers linebacker Jaelan Graham went to Cass Tech
- Cowboys corner Jourdan Lewis went to Cass Tech
- Patriots guard Michael Onwenu went to Cass Tech
As you can see, Cass Tech puts out ball players. They had the seventh most players on rosters this weekend of any any high school in the country.
Not bad Detroit. Not bad at all. Now, we need all these player to come play for the Lions when they get a chance.
