An elite four-star recruit from rival SEC territory is set to visit the Tennessee Vols this summer.

2025 four-star athlete Darnell Williams will visit Tennessee on June 14 according to On3

Williams, who is also a standout basketball player, also has visits scheduled this month to Florida State, Florida, South Carolina, and Clemson.

Williams, 5-foot-11/175 lbs from Ashdown, AR, is rated by On3 as the No. 16 athlete in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of Arkansas.

The talented recruit is high on Tennessee, telling On3 earlier this spring "If you wanna play with the big dogs, then that’s the best of the best.

Williams will likely be a defensive back at the next level (probably a safety) which is certainly a major position of need for the Volunteers.

Tennessee has just one commit so far to their 2025 recruiting class, four-star cornerback Shamar Arnoux.
