The Tennessee Titans shook up the NFL this weekend by agreeing to terms with star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. As Mauricio Rodriguez of A to Z Sports noted earlier, it is a 2-year, $26 million deal with the Titans.
Now, Ian Rapoport has reported the incentives involved in the contract for Hopkins. They are heavily performance-based for the All-Pro wideout. There are $3M available in incentives each season. All of the details are listed in his tweet below.
if Hopkins plays how everyone knows that he can and stays available, don't be shocked if he can add quite a bit of extra money into his wallet over the next two years. He will have plenty of opportunities as the top target in the Titans passing offense.
