CBS Sports' Jerry Palm — an OG bracketology expert — released his updated projected seeding for the NCAA Tournament on Monday.
Palm currently has the Tennessee Vols as a No. 6 seed in the West Region taking on No. 11 seeded Wyoming.
Here's a look at the entire West Region:

The Vols are currently 11-5 with an impressive win over Arizona, but also a blowout loss to Kentucky.
A No. 6 seed feels about right for Tennessee. I think the Vols could probably afford three or four more losses this season and still stick in that No. 6 seed range. If they get to the 10 loss mark this season, I think we're looking at a No. 8 or 9 seed for UT. Anything beyond 12 losses and I think there's a real possibility that Tennessee misses the tournament (which would be disastrous).
It feels like the Vols' game against Vanderbilt on Tuesday night could be one of the biggest games of the year for Rick Barnes and his team. A win can get the UT back on the right track, but a loss could send the program spiraling out of control — especially with games against LSU and Texas coming up before the end of January.
