I recently wrote that concerns about Tennessee Vols head coach Josh Heupel's recruiting are misguided.

You can check out my reasons here.

Over the last several days, I've seen several more complaints about Heupel's recruiting abilities.

Perhaps a recent prediction from a 2022 Vols commit will reduce those complaints.

2022 three-star tight end Brody Foley committed to Tennessee in early May. Foley, a Cincinnati native, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 18 player in Ohio and the No. 30 tight end in the nation.

Foley has been a key recruiter for the Vols over the last several months.

The talented tight end recently told VolQuest that he's been trying to help UT in any way possible on the recruiting trail.

“I was trying to let them know if they need anything else that I am here to help," said Foley.

The Ohio native then made an encouraging prediction for Tennessee.

“I think this next month will prove we’ve done a great job of recruiting," said Foley.

Foley has obviously been spending a lot of time with players that UT is currently recruiting. And if he believes that a few of those players are on the verge of committing in the next month, then it seems likely that Tennessee will land at least a couple of commits in the not-so-distant future.

Maybe then folks will ease up on the concerns about Heupel's recruiting.
