The two-time Super Bowl champion earned five league MVP awards during his career. He was also the MVP of Super Bowl XLI. That's just the start of the list of awards that Manning won during his illustrious career.
On Monday, Manning added a non-football award to the list of impressive awards he's won.
Manning is officially an Emmy Award winner after Monday night.
The former No. 1 overall draft pick won the Emmy Award for top event analyst (for his work on the ManningCast) on Monday evening.
As many fans noted, Manning now has an award on his résumé that Tom Brady doesn't have — though that could change in the coming years with Brady set to join the Fox broadcast team in 2024 (if Brady doesn't back out of the deal).
It's been over seven years since Peyton played in the NFL, but he's still as relevant as ever. The former Colts/Broncos quarterback is a tremendous ambassador for the game of football and while he's not involved with the NFL from a coaching or front-office standpoint, he's still managed to make a major impact on the game since his retirement after Super Bowl 50.
