Could Tennessee Vols OC Alex Golesh leave UT as a result of Jim Harbaugh going back to the NFL?

It appears increasingly likely that Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh will return to the NFL in 2022.
Harbaugh is set to interview with the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday. There are also some rumblings that Harbaugh could end up replacing Brian Flores as the Miami Dolphins head coach.
Either way, it's apparent that Harbaugh is looking for a way out of Michigan. If he's offered an NFL job, it's hard to see him turning it down.

And if this is indeed what happens, it could have a big impact on the Tennessee Vols.
Here's why:
One of Michigan's top targets to replace Harbaugh would probably be Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell.
Campbell has turned down numerous jobs over the years, but the Michigan job is one that would likely interest the Ohio native (Ohio State and Notre Dame are said to be his dream jobs, but Michigan could be in that group, too).
If Campbell leaves for Michigan, there are two scenarios where I could see Vols offensive coordinator Alex Golesh leaving Tennessee.
Golesh served as Iowa State's tight ends coach/recruiting coordinator for four seasons under Campbell before joining Josh Heupel's staff at UCF. He also coached under Campbell at Toledo.
Would Iowa State target Golesh to replace Campbell?
I certainly think he'd be on the list. Golesh is an extremely smart, engaging coach. He does well on the recruiting trail, and he knows how to run a high-octane offense that puts a lot of points on the board. The first time I heard Golesh speak to reporters at Tennessee, I knew he was destined to become a head coach.
It all depends on what Iowa State is looking for.
The other scenario where Golesh leaves — which I don't think is as likely — would be Golesh becoming Campbell's offensive coordinator at Michigan. Golesh and Campbell have a long working relationship. Plus Golesh has roots in Ohio. It's something to watch.
(It's worth noting that Golesh also has a great relationship with Heupel. Golesh declined an opportunity earlier this offseason to join the Ole Miss staff as Lane Kiffin's offensive coordinator.)
Of course, all of this is dependent on Campbell leaving Iowa State for Michigan.

Would Campbell leave right after National Signing Day? He's big on loyalty so I could see him turning down a huge opportunity like this out of respect for the players on his roster.
There's also the question of how high Campbell would be on Michigan's board. I think the Wolverines would look at Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule (who definitely wants the job, as things have gone south in Carolina). They'd also probably call Cincinnati head coach Luke Fickell (no way he takes the job — he's an Ohio State guy).
Ultimately, I think Golesh will be back on the sidelines in Knoxville next year. And that would be big for Tennessee. Staff continuity is important. Heupel is eventually going to lose some assistants — it's inevitable. But keeping his whole staff together from year one to year two — when the program should be taking a big leap — is massive from a development standpoint.
For now, we'll monitor this to see if there's any movement on Golesh's end if Campbell ends up leaving Iowa State.
