On Thursday, news broke that college football players will earn $600 if they opt into the new EA Sports College Football game that will be released later this year (it's the first version of the game in a decade).

They'll also receive a copy of the game. Players are able to opt into the game using the COMPASS NIL app.

On Thursday afternoon, Vols wide receiver Bru McCoy announced that he's opting into the game.

Some players will be brand ambassadors for game, which likely means they'll earn extra NIL money in addition to the $600.
