The Tennessee Vols currently have the No. 10 ranked 2024 recruiting class in the nation.

Tennessee's class isn't ranked No. 10 because of the number of players in their recruiting class so far, but instead, it's because of the quality of players.

The Vols have 11 players currently committed to their 2024 recruiting class which means they have plenty of room for more additions (as they hope to inch close to a top-five recruiting ranking).

One of the players that Tennessee could potentially add to their 2024 recruiting class is three-star offensive lineman Ronan O'Connell.

O'Connell, 6-foot-4/273 lbs from Franklin, TN, is ranked in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 38 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 13 player in the state of Tennessee.

The talented offensive lineman has seen his recruitment pick up recently, receiving offers from Kansas, Clemson, Texas Tech, and Wisconsin since the start of April.

On Tuesday, O'Connell revealed a top three of Tennessee, Clemson, and Wisconsin.

O'Connell is set to take an official visit to Clemson on June 2.

It looks like this is a player that could quickly rise up recruiting rankings ahead of the 2023 season. Considering the Vols offered O'Connell over a year ago, this is another example of Josh Heupel's staff identifying a talented player earlier than other programs — something that seems to be a theme for this staff

For now, it's unclear when O'Connell plans to commit.
