Tennessee Titans All-Pro safety Kevin Byard is among eight NFL players that will be representing the NFLPA (National Football League Players Association) on the NFLPA Player Passport Tour.

The NFL is looking to expand players' business globally, and the goal of the Passport Tour is to connect the players to brands, retailers, and fans in the league's international markets. Germany and the United Kingdom are the current focus.

Byard is joined by seven other NFL players on this journey including Michael Gallup (Dallas Cowboys), Gabe Davis (Buffalo Bills), Clyde Edwards-Helaire (Kansas City Chiefs), Josh Uche (New England Patriots), Jamel Dean (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Marcel Dabo (Indianapolis Colts) and Efe Obada (Washington Commanders).

On the tour, Byard and the other NFL representatives will participate in discussion panels, photo opportunities, and meet potential international business partners. They will also be a part of youth flag football clinics in both Germany and the UK and connect with local pro athletes, including Premier League players.

As if that wasn't already an amazing opportunity, experiencing the local cultures, food, and landmarks of the European countries is really the icing on the cake.

According to the NFLPA, there is a legitimate market for NFL football overseas that needs to be tapped into. Here's what the NFPLA website says about the demand for American football in Europe:

"Recent statistics illustrate the rise of American football fandom in Europe, with the U.K. and Germany leading the way. In Germany, the #1 market for the NFL in Europe, there are 3.3 million avid fans, while in the U.K. there is a passionate fan base of 3.2 million. The NFL and players' presence in these markets resulted in record-breaking attendance and product sales. In 2022, the three London games attracted a total of 209,000 attendees, and the NFL Munich Game sold 70,000 tickets, highlighting the sport's immense popularity."

As the NFL attempts to grow an international brand, it's important to be represented by the most charismatic, intelligent, and likable players. That is exactly what Kevin Byard brings to the table. Byard is also well-experienced in community outreach and business from his foundation 'The Byard Family Legacy.'

Titans fans know good and well that there is nobody better to represent the league than The Mayor of Murfreesboro.
