When the Tennessee Vols beat the Auburn Tigers in Thompson-Boling Arena, UT baseball coach Tony Vitello was sitting courtside wearing a Zakai Zeigler jersey.
On Monday, Zeigler, who admitted he didn't know it was Vitello sitting courtside at the Auburn game, repaid the favor by wearing a Vitello jersey to his press conference.
The vibes are simply great on Rocky Top right now. The basketball team and the baseball team are both on fire with no signs of slowing down.
It appears that football is on an upward trajectory, too.
And everyone is having a lot of fun.
This is the way athletics should be at Tennessee.
Maybe things are finally turning around for a program that's been through way too many ups and downs over the last 10-15 years.
