Former Tennessee Vols edge rusher Darrell Taylor had an embarrassing moment during the Seattle Seahawks' 31-27 win against the Detroit Lions this past weekend.

Taylor, who was selected by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, thought he sacked Lions quarterback Jared Goff. And he proceeded to celebrate the sack.

The only problem was that Goff didn't have the ball as he handed it off on a jet sweep and then dropped back as though he still had the ball.

That's when Taylor came flying off the edge and hit Goff, which obviously resulted in a penalty.

Here's the play:

This isn't the first time that Taylor's had a wild moment on the football field.

Last season, Taylor ran onto the field to celebrate teammate Quandre Diggs' interception. The ball, however, was still live. Once Taylor realized he was joining a live play instead of a celebration, he hilariously just started blocking for Diggs.

I can't wait to see what Taylor how in store next.
