Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jauan Jennings set a career milestone on Sunday in the San Franciscos 49ers’ 37-24 win over the Tennessee Titans.

And Jennings, who is in his sixth year with the 49ers, had no idea about it until after the game when he was informed by a reporter.

The former Vol caught two touchdowns against the Titans, giving him seven receiving touchdowns on the season, a new career high.

Here’s the viral exchange between Jennings and the reporter.

Jennings’ previous career high was six touchdown receptions in 2024. The Tennessee native now has 20 touchdown receptions in his career.

Jauan Jennings said the win over the Titans was 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan’s birthday present

The 49ers got the win over the Titans on San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan’s 46th birthday.

After the game, Jennings told reporters that the win was Shanahan’s birthday present.

The 49ers have dealt with numerous injuries to key players this season, but they’re 10-4 and in a good position to make the playoffs. San Francisco will return to action next Monday night against the Indianapolis Colts.
