Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Josh Dobbs has a new NFL home.
According to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, Dobbs has signed a one-year deal with the Cleveland Browns.
Dobbs, who played at Tennessee from 2013 to 2016, was selected in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The former Vol standout spent the first three years of his career with the Steelers before being traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars during the 2019 season.
Dobbs re-signed with Pittsburgh for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
The Georgia native has 45 passing yards and one interception in his NFL career.
Cleveland now has four quarterbacks on the roster, with Deshaun Watson, Baker Mayfield, and Jacoby Brissett. The expectation is that Mayfield will be traded, which would likely lead to Dobbs serving as the Browns' No. 3 quarterback.
